RCP has developed a new tool to perform full wavefield modeling of an interstage DAS VSP acquisition. Users can provide a survey geometry, 1D velocity model, and a projected SRV geometry to predict stage-by-stage changes in the seismic response using Madagascar 2D finite difference modeling. The tool includes a method to calculate DAS strain response from particle displacement. The complete source-code download, documentation, and licensing are found here.
